The kitchens of restaurants, hotels and takeaways produce a great quantity of pollution and particulate matter, gases and vaporised fats expelled through their exhaust systems. Since many are often located in clusters, mostly in city centres the problem is exacerbated and builds hot spots of localised pollution. Hence the smell of the kitchen exhaust in the street. It is not the smell of food on the table, it is from the emissions of the kitchen including all of the particulate waste. The solution is to install efficient air cleaning technology within the kitchen.
The PRO-X series has been designed for professional applications. The multi-stage model CP500 is particularly suitable for dental laboratories, hairdressers, photographic laboratories, printers and in general for all surroundings where the risk of inhaling various chemicals must be limited.
The systems comprises a mechanical pre-filter (capturing the visible particulate), a high-efficiency Active Ionisation cell (filtering the microscopic particles), an activated carbon filter (absorbing gaseous substances such as ammonia and amines) and a glass granule chemical filter (absorbing substances such as ozone, mercaptans, methyl chloride, alcohols and certain acids). The unit can operate horizontally in the free-standing version or it can be vertically or horizontally mounted on a wall with a supplied standard bracket system.
